WASHINGTON, D.C.,January 13, 2010 – InScope Solutions, a diversified consulting and integration firm, will relocate its Corporate Headquarters from 1851 Alexander Bell Drive in Reston, VA, to Two Reston Crescent, Reston, it was announced today. The Company, a pioneer in the field of mission-centric consulting, is expanding to accommodate the rapid growth of its National Security, Public Initiatives, and Technology Innovation organizations. InScope has leased at its current location for the past five years, but will now occupy 21,910 s.f. on the first floor in the new building.
Senior Vice President Catherine Jones of the Washington D.C. office of UGL Equis represented InScope Solutions during a year-long search for a new Headquarters location in Reston. Brookfield Properties, owner of the Class A, 185,000 s.f. office complex spread across 36 acres at 12018 Sunrise Valley Drive just off the Reston Parkway and the Dulles Toll Road, was represented by Peter Burke, Dave Millard and John Henschel, Senior Directors at Cushman & Wakefield.
After touring eight alternate locations in Virginia’s Hi-Tech Corridor, it was decided that Two Reston Crescent, constructed in 2007, ideally met all logistical requirements for the Company.
“We gave Cathy Jones a tight set of requirements to work with,” explained InScope President & CEO Mike Bruce, “and she really went above and beyond to find exactly what we needed. I have worked with a number of service professionals over the years, but she has set the bar high as a partner by helping us add value to our business beyond her core offering. She is a true tenant advocate.”
The six-story building features outstanding amenities, state-of-the-art building systems, high-end finishes, expansive floor-plates for optimum flexibility and nearby access to the new rail commuter line linking Dulles Airport to Washington D.C., once completed. The new InScope headquarters will have an innovation center that showcases customer solutions and demonstration prototypes, as well as bi-furcated space to house their security-cleared personnel and Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF). About 75 employees will be making the move.
“The Reston market had become very tight – there was a shortage of Class A space and that was our greatest challenge, but we found it in Two Reston Crescent, a premier building conveniently located in the Washington suburbs. It is ideal for accommodating InScope’s specialized requirement and future growth needs,” Jones commented.
