John Kranz has overall responsibility for UGL Equis’ Corporate Services business lines, including Portfolio Management, Data Management, Project Services, Workplace Integration, Facility Management and Audit & Recovery. He is responsible for services strategy development, recruiting, training and operations, including strategic alliances. As a member of the corporate management team, his focus is building the firm’s comprehensive suite of services offerings and ensuring consistent delivery of integrated service solutions aligned with client business strategy.
John has more than 20 years’ experience in commercial real estate, including senior management roles with national real estate firms JMB Realty and Heitman Financial, where he spent more than 15 years. His background includes large-scale portfolio management responsibilities, national roles directing training and development and real estate taxation programs for commercial, retail and industrial clients, capital planning and value-engineering programs, and corporate real estate service delivery. John has led efforts in strategic planning, asset repositioning, property integration and disposition, operational execution, financial management and market analysis/leasing. In addition, he has worked extensively with economic modeling, developing partner alliances, qualified vendor networks and other innovative real estate services solutions.
Prior to joining UGL Equis, John served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer with ParkMedia LLC, responsible for developing strategy and directing execution for the company’s infrastructure build-out. He directed portfolio due diligence, evaluated platform utilization to underwrite assets, and built out a multi-million dollar inventory pipeline in less than 12 months. Previously, as Senior Vice President with APCOA/Standard, he was a member of the senior team that helped grow the company fourfold through M&A in a three-year period to become the second largest player in its industry. During that time, John led the highest grossing revenue and profit contributions by urban business units across the company.
